I have distinguished two types of travelers. But one question is still open: how can we find the best place for a cup of coffee? I suppose that some kind of “professional instructions” doesn’t exist. The only piece of advice I can give you is connected with my personal experience. Which is, by the way, full of bad choices. But – as we usually say – we learn by ours mistakes, and in my opinion it is the best school of life.

I can't say that I have already visited the most important cities in the world (on the other hand, who can say this? The real traveler is a humble traveler!), but I saw a several attractive European towns (Berlin, Prague, Lvov, southern part of Portugal, some Italian and French cities, also Paris...) and during that time I was collecting meticulously all impressions connected with searching the best coffee place. Soon, on the basis of them I will propose you some simple rules. Practical tips for beginners.

There are different types of travellers. The first one run through the new city and have only one aim in his turist rush - visit as much monuments as possible in the shortest time. The second prefer a calm walk (very often without a fixed direction) to stressful sightseeing à la japanese. Roaming the streets let him konw better the atmosphere and the soul of a new place hidden behind famous monuments.

I am going to blog about nice spots for having a good coffee, so why am I writing about visiting now? For me, these two examples of tourists imply two attitudes toward "being in the city". Those who like discover really quickly solely the first layer of a new town will never find a pleasure in looking for the perfect place for a cup of coffee. As find the best, cosy place require a patience and love to wandering around the town.
Tourists who need a time for feeling the rythm of a city life will undubtedly have a great fun while seeking the ideal spot. For them the thing that matters (doesn't important where they actually are - in their home city or abroad) is to catch a moment and its unique atmosphere.

As you can see, my blog is adressed to the all flaneurs who always discover the cities with passion and taste!
